Mark Sayers is a seasoned business leader operating at the nexus of strategy, innovation, finance and operations within the energy and industrials sectors.Mr. Sayers has been working with a firm out of Chicago, Illinois as an interim Chief Executive Officer of an African American firm that is in the process of restructuring out of Bankruptcy. The firm specializes in electrical construction in the utility and transportation sectors. As CEO of The BarTech Group of Illinois, Mr. Sayers maintained communication with the stakeholders and court trustee and Attorneys; managed the financial health and reporting; maintained relationships with lenders and investors; encouraged employees and staff; maintained relationships with labor unions, vendors and subcontractors; and implemented the company vision and mission. From 2010 to 2023, Mr. Sayers served as the Chief Executive Officer for Power Solutions Group, LLC, which is focused on construction in the energy and renewable sectors. Acting as the CEO, Mr. Sayers performed an asset purchase of a small $5MM gross revenue firm from Red Level. Alabama. After the purchase of H&H Power, an overhead electrical distribution contractor, Power Solutions group increased revenues from $5MM to $30MM and increased profitability from 4% to 12%. Power Solutions Group was able to expand the service territory of the original H&H Power from Oklahoma, Texas an Alabama, to a national company working in over 20 states and expanded into federal contracting through minority set aside programs and competitive bidding. In Addition, to expanding the regions and clients we were able to offers services, Power Solutions Group was also able to offer additional construction services such as transmission line, substation, underground distribution, micro-grid, natural gas and solar generation, Uninterrupted and ride over power solutions, etc. Mr. Sayers was also able to established a solid executive team; implement process for operations; reduce market concentration by expanding regions, service offerings, and clients; and maintained cashflow in a fast growing company.Prior to acting as Chief Operating Officer, Power Solutions Group, Mark Sayers was employed by Hoar Construction, a large commercial general contractor based out of Birmingham, AL.
