Helped manage natural and forever wild areas within New York City parks, across the five boroughs, through invasive species removal, habitat restoration and native species plantings. I identify species and use chainsaw, brush cutter for removal. I apply herbicide to ensure a prolonged period where aggressive species are suppressed and so native species can thrive. This helps implement the agency's mission so to reach our goals.

I helped procure supplies for construct of 3 of NYC's very own Community Gardens. These include the Bedford-Stuyvesant Community Garden, designed by Ken Smith, the Target East Harlem Community Garden designed by Sean Conway and the Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson Community Garden in South Jamaica, designed by Walter Hood.

I studied various greenstreets to measure watersheds and stormwater catchment capacity. These include greenstreets in the neighborhoods of Hunts Point, the Upper West Side, Middle Village, and Pelham Gardens.
