This position is heavily focused on machine design. Throughout my time at USNR I have had the opportunity to work on a diverse set of projects and machines including conveyors, chain transfers, chipping modules, profiling modules, planers and planer infeeds, and CLT presses. I also perform various tests and analysis during challenging circumstances. Key Responsibilities:-Solid Modeling-extensive use of Solidworks to create complete large scale assemblies.-Drawings-Create accurate and easy to understand mechanical drawing packages.-FEA-Perform various stress analysis as needed in Solidworks Simulation to provide complete, detailed reports of findings as well as recommendations. -Project monitoring and shop assistance as each machine is manufactured.-Onsite measure up of existing machines for retrofit projects.-Onsite troubleshooting and field service support at time of commissioning.

Started from scratch a company to design and manufacture snowpark equipment, focused on private parties, backyard setups, and custom rail design. Responsibilities: -All design, modeling, and drawing.-Shop work including welding, grinding, painting and all related manufacturing processes-Purchasing and material selection-Networking and developing key, mutually beneficial relationships with other companies.-Brainstorming of new, exciting project ideas to gather interest in products

Obtained general knowledge of printed circuit board manufacturing processes. Developed project management and data collection/analysis skills. Responsibilities: -Project Management: Main projects worked on were a capability study of finishing department, and the design of a soldermask vacuum chamber. -Data manipulation with Minitab and MS Excel Software -CMM operation
