Better Future develops A BETTER WORLD THROUGH Community OutreachDear Friend,The Better Futures Program epitomizes what is good, kind & just in our society. It helps our inner-city children realize that there truly is a possibility for a better life--a life with respect, a life with a feeling of pride & self-worth.In my Jewish traditions, I learned the importance of "tikkun olum", or "healing the world". Better Futures, by teaching service with compassion to our children, & by offering companionship and support to our elderly, is a wonderful example of "tikkun olum".I am so proud of our Better Futures program & so excited to see the blossoming of our young interns.
