I am a 33 year fire-service veteran with a passion for teaching and mentoring others. During my tenure with Brevard County Fire Rescue, I have served in a variety of capacities from entry level firefighter to Assistant Chief and everything in between. In 2014 I was fortunate enough to have been appointed Fire Chief of one of the best and largest fire and rescue organizations in East Central Florida. My experiences with budget, human resources, contract management, emergency medical services, hazardous materials, training, and marine firefighting have enabled me to grow in the organization I grew up in.

In addition, I worked with BC Emergency Management in the creation of a passenger rail incident action plan in anticipation of high speed rail coming through the area via Florida East Coast Railway DBA All Aboard Florida.
