Within the past 18 years of work experience, I have been responsible for taking orders from customers and making sure they were fulfilled in a timely fashion. My time spent with Generation Systems, Weatherguard Construction, and O’Reilly Auto Parts has taught me how to handle sales calls, build a customer base, and follow up on orders. When O’Reilly Auto Parts bought out Checker Auto Parts the ability to adapt was necessary to continue as manager. All of these jobs required precision and attention to details. With a degree in management and the pursuit of a degree in accounting, I have taken several classes in management and accounting. In these classes, I have had extensive use of Microsoft Word and Excel. The success, in these areas, has lead to honors received graduating Summa Cumme Laude with a 3.5 GPA from St. Cloud State University. The continuing studies at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire show my ability to learn and grow. One area in particular is an Accounting internship, where I am gaining experience in the accounting field. As a member of Phi Kappa Tau (I received an award for being the most reliable), SUMO, NSCS, and APICS, negotiation skills were necessary in the interactions with people of differing opinion. Through these interactions I learned valuable communication skills. As an assistant for VITA I help organize the operation.
