Process R&D synthetic chemist responsible for researching new synthetic pathways to new chemical entities (NCE's) in CordenPharm's portfolio and developing these syntheses into scaled cost efficient and environmentally friendly processes capable to be transferred to large manufacturing sites anywhere around the world. The types of products range from potent drugs manufactured in limited quantities in special kilo-labs to full manufacturing on a multi-ton scale. As the development work in progresses I work with multi-discipline teams of engineers, plant personnel, environmental, health & safety groups, and Global team leaders to provide active pharmaceutical ingrediants (API) and their intermediates for all stages from toxicology, clinical, formulation studies to full commercial scale. I also monitor and maintain several commercial processes through registration, validation and production stages in manufacturing.
