After receiving his Bachelors of Science degree in accounting from Oregon State University, Mark started his auditing career with an international accounting firm, where he became an audit manager. He enjoys working closely with clients to perform efficient and, most importantly, high quality audits. Mark has performed several hundred audits; his most recent audit experience includes not-for-profit organizations, affordable housing tax credit properties, OMB Single Audits, HUD not-for-profit and for-profit properties, and farm-worker rural development housing. Mark performs compilation and review engagements, and he provides tax and consulting services to individuals and small-to-medium-sized businesses.Mark is a member of the American Institute of CPA's and the Oregon Society of CPA's (OSCPA), and he was formerly on the peer review committee of the OSCPA. He performs peer reviews of other CPA firms and has also served as a director on the boards of various organizations.As a long-time baseball coach, Mark enjoyed mentoring boys and young men. In his spare time Mark enjoys reading, working out with his pole-vaulting daughter's former strength and conditioning coach, attending a wide variety of events, traveling, and especially spending time with his five children and their families.
