I began my career with Stirling Council in July 2009 as a Waste Driver, responsible for collecting and delivering waste and recycling bins from various locations within the council area.Over the years, I received several promotions. In August 2014, I was promoted to the role of Waste Supervisor, monitoring and supervising frontline waste operatives and apprentices. In February 2020, I became a Waste Coordinator, continuing to supervise frontline staff and leading waste service operations with a focus on high levels of customer care. Finally, in August 2020, I took on the role of Service Development Officer within the department, initiating and leading several projects and conducting service reviews and appraisals to identify future areas of development.Throughout my career at Stirling Council, I utilised my strong communication skills to evaluate projects and report data while forming objective and reasoned judgments.
