My role is to promote, support and ensure my businesses own their risks and controls. Meaning all key risks within their activities and operations are identified, mitigated and monitored by an appropriate control environment that is commensurate with the Bank’s risk appetite.A large part of my job is to coordinate Risk and Control Assessments, which set the scope, identify material risks, assign risk prioritization and identify and assess the effectiveness of key controls. I also undertake internal control monitoring, including developing a comprehensive monitoring plan, monitoring progress against the plan, executing control monitoring, reporting results to senior management, developing action plans, overseeing remediation and challenging procedures covering areas under review.

Responsible for the growth of a diverse client book. Deliverables include growing revenues via loans and deposits, among other HSBC products. Heavy focus on business development and new client acquisition.Full proficiency with complex credit arrangements, Cash Management and Payment & Cash Management offerings. Full proficiency with HSBC’s commercial investment offerings.
