Flashbutt Maintenance Lead (Rail Execution), BHP (Programmed), WA Jan 2019 – current Utilising my specialist rail knowledge, I work closely with BHP engineers to develop mobile Flashbutt training packages for track crews, ensuring the procedures comply with BHP policies, safety and operational guidelines. BHP Track Maintenance Coordinator (Hedland Gang), BHP (Programmed), WA Jun 2018 – Dec 2018 • Provided logistic and management advice at weekly Track Maintenance planning meetings to prioritise, plan and schedule major rail maintenance works to be completed.• Identified and scoped rail maintenance problem sites, determining the issue and the necessary materials, resources, estimated track time to complete the job. • Recorded SAP data management daily, including scopes, time confirmations, weekly planned work, and notifications (eg vehicle servicing, track faults, training).• Oversaw workplace inspections, ensuring they are completed correctly, regularly and raised any issues that have been identified.• Completed pre-job site inspections to ensure planned materials and machinery are present and there are no additional identified issues to consider. • Responsible person onsite during rail maintenance job, coordinating work crews, materials, workflow, machinery, track time and safety measures.• Liaised with other work groups and contractors as necessary for all rail maintenance jobs.• Managed one on one meetings with track technicians to manage workplace goals, KPIs and training, focusing on safe working practices.• Organised and lead the Level 1 and 2 boards attended by track technicians, Supervisors, Superintendent, Safety Officers and Environmental Officers, providing details about current safety data, and business news.

Mobile Flashbutt Welding Supervisor, BHP (Programmed), WA Mar 2016 – Jun 2018 In this role I supervised a dynamic team of rail operators, fitters, welders and labourers. Achievements include: • Managed safe working conditions at all time, no injuries whilst supervising.• Supervised and completed on-track welding, installation of switches and turnout and removal of rail defects (small track sessions and rerail).• Actively built and maintained relationships with internal management and external stakeholders, including BHP, Fluor, Programmed, and Cat5. • Completed necessary administration tasks through SAP to ensure the work tasks were completed.• Trained inexperienced crew members and provided leadership guidance to ensure job success.
