As the project director for LiveLine-FX, I have been instrumental in changing the live broadcast product and technology within the sport of sailing. LiveLine-FX is the Emmy Award winning augmented 3D graphics which have transformed the viewer experience; with visuals that provide context, key story telling elements and a field of play, making the sport easier to understand for the casual viewer. Along with this technology, the use of data has transformed the competition elements. Electronic race management tools not only assist in delivering good quality racing but allow races timing to be adjusted to fit the broadcast windows. Electronic umpiring provides the race officials with the tools and information to determine close calls, even with the boats traveling in excess of 90km/h or 25m/sHighly experienced working across multiple disciplines - sporting, technical, operational, graphical and creative; I have combined passion, knowledge and technical aptitude, to deliver integrated technology driven solutions. Skilled in event delivery, from initial site visits to scope out venue specific requirements, through to managing the onsite team and delivery - often within compressed time frames. Commercially minded, I am adept at delivering ROI to partners and sponsors and have a continued drive to innovate and provide more for less. I have a tenacious approach, scoping out projects, building excellent stakeholder relations and defining clients’ needs. My focus is on finding the best solutions, with the most efficient resources and the latest technology to capture the thrill of sporting moments and achievements.
