I have twenty four years’ experience In supply chain . My roles in the plastics industry have required a great deal of organisation and time management in order to meet deadlines and keep on top of objectives, which I believe I prove consistently. Similarly, all work needed the ability to use Microsoft office applications such as Word, Excel and other data inputting software such as ERP, WMS ( RFSmart) which I use on a regular basis. I am Passionate about the sustainability of plastic and packaging. In order for a material to be truly described as sustainable it must be environmentally, economically and socially sustainable. As an Internal materials manager and project lead, I learned the importance of teamwork within and across departments and communication between colleagues, other departments and management. I have been accredited with a Six Sigma black belt that has allowed me to take on a more statistical role when managing cost saving projects. In my experience, CI comes naturally to some people. Where others need to be managed, coached and mentored by committed Improvement leaders and managers all working together. It is important to me that improvement opportunities are encouraged from bottom up and not just top down enforcement.My current role has a business excellence leader has allowed me to move involved in continuous improvement and work on lean principles within a FMCG manufacturing plant.
