Technician / Task Lead Special Operations Expeditionary Technical Support Group So-EtsgNswc Crane Oct 2015 - PresentCrane IndianaMy major responsibilities and duties are to serve as a Technical / Task Lead within a team which provide technical and market research, support and follow-on technical assistance to serve and support the NAVY INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM OFFICE, NAVSEA SEA 21 PMS 326 for Defense Military Articles to NATO, Foreign Military Allie compliant countries. Providing Special Operations Equipment, Electro Optics, Weapon Accessories, Visual Augmentation Systems, Thermal, Night Vision Devices, and other Materials described as requirements. I serve as the primary point of contact within NSWC Crane to our program office in assisting with the case execution of Letters of Requests and Letter of Acceptance for mission essential, mission critical requirements to ensure that our customers requirements have all of the detailed information defined for their case development, acceptance, implementation, and execution. As a Letter of Request / Offer / Acceptance for transfer in the Foreign Military Sales program which specifies or defines the terms and conditions of the agreement between governments ( US / NATO / Allie ). Once these terms and conditions are received and approved for transfer by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, DSCA / State Department then defense articles, services, to NATO, and other Allies which fall under Other International Approved Countries, may consist of Special Operation Equipment's, hardware, software, spares, repair, engineering and logistics support, publications and training. These requirements leave no aspect of a system acquisition for neglect. The requirements for weapon platforms, combat systems, armament, shall be from cradle to grave, to ensure the deployment, operation, maintenance, warranties are overseen. Acquisitions are performed through the Defense Logistics Agency Tailored Logistics Support Program Contract for fair and equitable competition, in which oversight for the mission requirement are performed.
