I’m a senior developer at Directra. We are developing innovative tools to help individuals and groups better manage email and telephone communications.Previously, I wrote the Agent Usenet newsreader and email client, a product which continues to generate substantial revenue after 20 years.Working at a small company, I wear many hats. I develop email and VoIP communications systems, principally in C++ and SQL. But I’m comfortable using any language or tool best suited to get the job done. I also manage our company’s infrastructure, which resides mainly at Amazon Web Services. I ensure that our systems are scalable, secure and fault-tolerant.I enjoy working in small teams writing great software, and participating in all aspects of getting products to market. I am always exploring new tools and methods to develop better software more quickly.I have a BA in computer science from Yale University.
