In early 2012, I partnered with a wind data provider to create an online service that provides wind reports to kitesurfers. Members pay a monthly subscription and membership payment is set up online.Address is: www.goodwind.co.za

Served as the Project Manager (a.k.a. “Team Leader”) of a project varying between five and six team members. My role was to ensure that the project ran smoothly by managing both the team and the client.

As the Technical Lead of the above mentioned project my role was to ensure that the correct design decisions were made when implementing our features and to provide a plan on how we would implement within the specified time.

I started at Stone Three as a developer, the primary role being to implement new features. It was during these years that I learned the ropes of software development and developed my programming skills.

As a student, I developed a system to capture and report data collected at the Cape Sawmills plant for my father’s consultancy. This remained in use by QA department for many years thereafter.
