  I have responsibility for a team of 8 who look after the financial affairs of the partners of HFW in relation to their firm financial matters. This includes their drawings, distributions, capital contributions and tax reserving. I also have responsibility for the tax and structuring issues of the firm as a whole, and have undertaken the set-up of many partnership and corporate structures for new offices globally.I joined HFW in 1998 as a contractor, and was made permanent in 2000, with responsibility for the partnership accounting and tax reserving of the firm. I progressed to the role of Head of Tax & Partnership Affairs and built the group tax team of 3, and automated the many of the processes for the partnership accounts team.
