In February 2016 I was asked to lead our Corporate Group Business Development activities in the Middle East, performing the role of Acting Regional Managing Director Middle East, reporting to the BAE Systems Group Business Development MD. In this acting role I was responsible for Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, UAE and Pakistan, resident and operating from Bahrain. I managed a team of five direct reports, International Executives and Country Directors, responsible for prosecution of a business portfolio totalling c £10bn. In addition, I was responsible for the management of our Corporate Offices in Abu Dhabi, Cairo, Iraq, Oman and Qatar. In January 2017, following an internal restructuring of BAE Systems international business winning, I was tasked to focus on the Country Strategy and Growth of our Kuwait Market, as well as managing our activities in Bahrain.

In early 2013 I was recalled to India to head the BAE Systems Indian Operation, based in New Delhi. Reporting to the Regional MD for South East Asia & India located in Malaysia. As Head of the India Operation, I was responsibility for a prospect portfolio of c$10Bn and staff head count of c100. In this role I also reported to our Indian Chairman. Further as part of my role I represented BAE Systems India at our Indian Joint Ventures (BAeHAL & DLSI) Board meetings. BAeHAL being a JV with Hindustan Aeronautical Limited a Systems & Software Company employing c400 staff in Bangalore, and DSLI a joint venture with Mahindra one of India’s largest Industrial Groups employing 10,000s.

Resident Abu Dhabi, reporting to the Land & Armaments (L&A) International Business Development Director of our USA Inc Business, BAE Systems L&A headquartered in Washington DC. Managed a diverse international team of four directors responsible for all Market Creation work for L&A, in the Gulf, Africa, Egypt, Afghanistan, Iraq, Jordon, Pakistan and India. Responsible for the identification of c$2bn new business / qualified sales prospects per annum.

Resident in India New Delhi, reporting to the BAE Systems Regional MD East & President India (who reported respectively into the BAE Systems Group Marketing Director and Managing Director International Operating Group). • Provided marketing and sales support assistance to BAE Systems business units globally. Responsible for c£9bn of prospects across multiple sectors.

Resident in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, reporting to the BAE Systems Regional MD East, and the in country Executive Vice President Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (BAE Systems Customer Support & Solutions Group). Responsible for all BAE Systems direct sales activities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (i.e. contracts outside of the British Government to Saudi Government agreement).

Reporting to the Regional MD East, responsible for all BAE Systems activities within the Kingdom of Bahrain.
