Originally BOCM Pauls Ltd, animal feed manufacturer, based out of the site at Barlby Road in Selby. They sold the laboratory part of the site to Natural Resource Management (NRM) Ltd in 2001, a company who owned and ran their own laboratory in Bracknell. The newly acquired laboratory at Selby was moved to part of the Stockbridge Technology Centre site at Cawood in December 2003. In 2006, NRM acquired the Sciantec Analytical Services company based at Dalton, near Thirsk. Staff and business were transferred to NRM Cawood, which then changed its name to Sciantec Analytical Services to better interface with its new customer base.
