This includes development of the Industrial Maintenance strategy, value proposition and diversification of customer base. • Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion• Reviewing the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate cost• Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations• Demonstrating an overriding commitment to health, safety, quality, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development for the Company• Periodically assessing performance reviews of direct reports against business needs and preparing corrective and development plans as necessary• Monthly cashflow reporting of company invoicing target vs actual• Preparing operating, capital and manning budgets and control project expenditure to agreed levels

•Improving, through asset management the condition and productive capacity of the Steel Products assets to ensure success in future years. •Development and execution of a maintenance strategy that will support the overall Steel Products throughout and conversion cost targets. •Responsible for the application of external and internal maintenance and engineering standards, as well as the standardisation of maintenance processes within Steel Products. •Collaborate with the Manager Engineering for Whyalla Steelworks to ensure Steel Products asset management strategy is aligned with the overall manufacturing plan. •Collaboration with the Manager Engineering for Whyalla Steelworks to facilitate the coordination of engineering and maintenance resources to ensure standardisation of equipment and processes and the optimal balance of skills and resources for OneSteel Whyalla.

•Support supply chain functions with engineering solutions in order to enable adherence to capacity plans.•Contribute toward business capacity level planning as it relates to planned maintenance outages and manage maintenance activities to ensure adherence to planned windows•Oversee development of monthly cost reports that enable variance analysis and the identification of actions to close these gaps.•Reduce variance, improve analysis and provide accurate and timely financial forecasts on a monthly basis. Foster knowledge of financial measures and key performance indicators within the maintenance group.•Design and deliver in collaboration with the Steelmaking Lead Team and the Manager Engineering a shutdown asset and maintenance strategy aligned to the Steelmaking quality and capacity plan, to ensure asset availability, reliability and measurement capability are synchronised with our customers and suppliers.•Ensure compliance with the quality systems so that Steelmaking’s ISO 9001 quality management certification is maintained.•Embed a work environment and culture with a strong focus on rewarding performance, and a ‘continuous improvement’ mindset on operational excellence and innovation.

•Provide Leadership to Maintenance Planning Team•Provide SAP and Work Management training for Maintenance and Operations personnel•Develop Scopes of Work and act as Project Controller for maintenance and project activities•Development of training resources and system standards information to ensure consistency of usage.•Contribution to and ensuring, compliance with safety, environmental, quality control plans, engineering standards, maintenance standards and capital processes.
