• Responsible for Base Oil: Optimization, Alignment, Storage and Utilization for the Lubricant Manufacturing Plants Production process.• Responsible for International Group Sourcing of all Raw Materials • Local Sourcing of Packaging, Additive, Buyouts and Subcontracting• Responsible for Mass Balance of the Lubricant Manufacturing Plant• Responsible for Lubricant Manufacturing Plant meeting their annual Blending Volume in line with the Lubricants Roadmap Volume Target• Planning of LMP manufacturing and supply of all Total’s Lubricants to: ISP, Affiliates, CT/JHB Airport operations, Lube Marine, 7 x Warehouses in SA • Key performance areas: Bulk and Packed Lubricant Storage ($per ton, % asset utilization, return on assets, G&L)

Production Planning:To ensure the efficient and continuous operation of the blending and filling operations of the plant by effectively planning and scheduling production orders to ensuring efficient and economical use of available resources. (Space, materials, machinery, labour). Analyse and report on production planned vs. marketing demand.Analyse and report on production planning activities against targets and drive initiatives of continuous improvement.Working Capital Management:Conduct monthly stock counts and reconciliation’s as per Total’s business rule.To ensure proper stock management of raw & packaging material and bulk finished product by prcessing all related transactions, in compliance to Total’s business rules.To continuously manage and reduce working capital by optimising the MRP Tool while and not compromising customer service.HSEQ:To ensure constant adherence and compliance to company HSEQ and security standards, local by-laws, standards and legislations so as to minimise all risk pertaining to company assets and protection of life and environment.Governance:To ensure effective risk management and internal control, including asset management, for area of responsibilityContext and environmentOrganisations: Many internal and external stakeholders. Challenge: To improve cross-functional integration across departments on all process related to the MM and PP business streams.AccountabilitiesResponsible for converting the demand into an efficient and effective production plan thereby optimising the utilisation of the manufacturing facility’s resources and inventories.Manage inventory in compliance with Production StrategyCompliance with all applicable Total SA business process and initiatives.

Supervise the entire operations of the depot to ensure all depot / gantry activities and products received, handled and issued are done so safely and efficiently thereby contributing to improved controls.Effective stock supervision.Supervise the depot’s maintenance programmers at minimum costSupervise the HSEQ and security of the depot to ensure constant adherence and compliance to the Company’s standards, any local by-laws and government legislation.Supervise all subordinates through continuous people management, staff development and coaching / mentoring to ensure a positive working environment.

Island View Terminal - Durban

Control the loading and dispatching process for TOTAL vehiclesPrepare incident/accident reports and perform regular gantry inspections for non-compliance by drivers to Safe Working Procedures, housekeeping and vehicle operating requirements to ensure a reduction in incidents and compliance to transport legislation.Conduct all administration and system processing within Company guidelines that will result in improved controls.Assist with the practical training of Operations and Management trainees and employees from other depots through on-the-job training and rotation within the terminal that will result in meeting the objective of the training programme.
