Captain - 70M Lurssen With 20 CrewM/Y Horizons Iii Jul 2022 - Nov 2023I joined as captain towards the end of the season. During this time we had three separate guest trips with various members of the owner's family. Each trip was unique and required a different set up and itinerary. I organised a yard period for a 15 year survey on short notice. I collected quotes and recommendations from various shipyards and an $8M budget was agreed.Successfully project managed the yard period and liaised with class/flag. A number of issues were found in the survey, which I promptly handled. New shafts and anchors were required and turned around on short notice. The vessel was delivered on time for the Summer season with all class items signed off. I lead general crew management and training protocols. I took the time to improve upon existing procedures and established an efficient drills & training system for the vessel.
