Employed as the nuclear account relationship manager at Delkia, an SME based in West Cumbria. In this role I oversee the management and development of business for all nuclear clients at Delkia. Managing business development and growth as well as technical oversight and leadership of the PMO.Prior to this role I acted as Systems integration Manager at Delkia and immediately before that Principal Engineer and PEM on high value projects in a highly regulated nuclear industry.Chartered Engineer with the IET who having gained a wealth of experience in my over 15 years directly employed in the nuclear industry, has made the choice at the end of 2020 to join Delkia to expand my skill set and capabilities and grow and develop in line with the Delkia mission statement and vision.Career history:Initially as a time served CE&I craftsperson, I then moved through to a maintenance support role and before leading the maintenance for a significant size, high hazard nuclear facility with around 70 employees under my supervision delivering CE&I maintenance and repairs. I have delivered larger and small scales projects within timescale and budget. I have a brilliant ability to cope well under pressure, and have proven this in a number of situations. I have experience managing large maintenance documentation suites, and in my time delivering this role I made significant improvements within this area streamlining the maintenance delivery programme and increasing the MTBF. over the 18 months whilst I was leading on it. I am a TUV Rheinland accredited Functional Safety Engineer in IEC61508 and IEC61511 and In this role for a nuclear facility I managed the requirements of IEC61508 based at the Sellafield Nuclear facility where there is 1000s of safety systems. I delivered improvements throughout the life cycle in this role to give improved Regulator confidence in the sites management of Safety Systems. Managing digital transformations and technology development and integration into the nuclear decommissioning sector. I am a hardworking, ambitious person, who is willing to go the extra mile. During my time with my current employer I have also via part time studies achieved a Masters Degree from Lancaster University in Mechatronic Systems Engineering. This has given me an in depth technical knowledge of CE&I systems whilst I gained invaluable practical experience in my site based roles.
