I am an exploration/operations geologist. I have experience in both occupations and like the challenge of combining these experiences. While at Devon I helped develop the initial stages of the Bone Spring play, aided in maximizing production in the Barnett Shale, and compiled a story for Arkoma Basin assets and presented in a data room as part of a $2.3B divestiture. I've mapped Pennsylvanian and Missourian clastics in the Texas Panhandle and Western Oklahoma and geosteered many wells in the Granite Wash, Cleveland, and Hogshooter Formations. I've performed geologic mapping and reservoir characterization in the Wolfcamp and Bone Spring in Pecos and Reeves Counties in a new ventures/exploration role overseeing projects from prospect to development. I've also led a team to characterize the Mowry Shale in the Powder River Basin and move it toward appraisal status. My latest role at Maverick has been building inventory in conventional sands and mapping unconventional source rock opportunities in the Western Andadarko Basin.My strengths are basin analysis, sedimentology, and structural geology (emphasis on extensional basins).
