Working as back to back with the Senior Safety Advisor assuming the role when they are on R&RMonitor compliance by project personnel to legislative and Decmil HSE management plan requirements.Participate in, and conduct behavioural observations, and promote, recognise and reward safe behaviour..Monitor developments and changes in legislation and HSE management, and recommend appropriate changes to policies, plans and procedures.Conduct on-site inductions.Prepare weekly toolbox material, and assist with meeting presentations.Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reports are completed,Attend Client scheduled HSE meetings.Organise first aid or medical assistance as required.Liaise with Client Safety Personnel regarding HSE issues.Coordinate emergency response exercises and drills, in consultation with Project Management.Maintain all HSE compliance registers and records for the project.Lead ICAM and TapRoot investigations incidents in conjunction with Project Management, Site Supervision and/or Client Representatives.Monitor HSE performance against set project objectives and targets through the compilation and notification of statistics and reports.Maintain workers compensation records in accordance with company procedures.Coordinate any injury management requirements for project personnel on site.Set minimum qualifications and training required for each site role.Coordinate the development and implementation of a project specific training plan.Deliver, or coordinate the delivery of any required training at pre-determined intervals, including verification of competency requirements.Environmental management as per above.
