Project Manager for the closure of legacy contracts across the Eurofighter business. Managing a matrix team from the business to ensure closure of legacy contracts. Negotiating with the UK, and Partner Nations, the values to be released within the shared risk funds from the legacy contracts. Proving achievement of success against the original project milestones. The legacy contracts form a portfolio of 90 contracts with the potential to release substantial sums back into the customer and company budget streams. By ensuring clear communication across all stakeholders I am ensuring sufficient impetus is provided to closure activities release these funds. I am also consolidating all closure problems to ensure a controlled process is applied rather than a piecemeal approach.

Project Manager for the bid phase of the new support contract for the Typhoon Radar and Defensive Aids Sub-System (DASS). Working closely with both the UK MoD and European Partners to understand their requirements for support. Building the relationship with the key suppliers to ensure timely responses to the requirements. Developing a shared Work Breakdown Structure with the prime suppliers and establishing a shared risk fund to reduce duplication of costs. Clearly defining the internal Work Breakdown Structure, Organisational Breakdown Structure, Cost Breakdown Structure and overall schedule for both the bid phase and implementation phase of the project. Briefing the lead organisations within BAE Systems, Prime supplier and customer community on the progress and key points of the bid. Negotiating and closing the detail of the contract with the four European Air Force operators of Typhoon. The overall contract value is circa £500 Million over five years.

Bid manager for the UK Advanced Jet Trainer (AJT) In Service Support competition. Preparing an innovative support solution for the new UK fast jet training system. Negotiating with prime suppliers to ensure the most competitive price. Leading the negotiations with the UK MoD team and ultimately winning the competition and agreeing the support solution. This contract is circa £100 Million for five years support.

Delivery of the key project deliverables of Sales, Profit, Order Intake and Cash for the Hawk customer base in Oman, UAE, Bahrain and Kuwait. Controlled the closure of the Kuwait support contract. Developed the ten year business strategies for the Hawk Middle East customers.
