Interim Maintenance Manager/ Estates Officer; Responsible for the mobilization and the day to day control of a maintenance contract with a neighbouring NHS Foundation Trust, the relationship with the clients. To Manage their on going site maintenance via a team of engineers and specialist contractors. To ensure compliance across the all the portfolio consisting of six Community Hospitals and two Mental Health Hospitals, associated administration buildings, training offices and treatment rooms, a Laboratory and a Health Centre, to HTM’s and current regulations. M&E Surveyor surveying Education Establishments for a major client. Primary survey education buildings for M&E condition but also completing General Building Surveys and Health & Safety Surveys. This role ended due to contract with client ending.

I have been involved and managed many Contracts ranging from a value of 2.5k up to my current responsibility of 4 PFI Hospitals and additional 30 building with assistant from a team of 13 across 34 sites.Accompanying these contracts I have also been responsible of a number of Projects ranging from values £500 up to 400k.

Responsible for co-ordinating the day to day maintenance of commercial retail premises and secure MOD related sites. I am an efficient trouble-shooter and is the first contact with the client in order to prioritise work and provide a level of service within given deadlines. I am responsible for renegotiating existing contracts as well and have completed presentations for new contracts. I deal with contractors and members of staff and organise staff workloads. I manage a team of technicians to provide service cover to the south of England. I am responsible for monitoring SLA's and KPI's and annual testing. Managing contractors quotes and completed work, ensuring. Assessing health and safety. Instructing staff on safety tests and testing of equipment. I am responsible for ensuring all works are carried out within agreed budgets. The majority of my work covers the south west, however, I also at times work all over the UK.

Responsible for a given geographical area in the south of England. Prioritisation of daily workload by liaising with both the customer and office co-ordinator. Problem diagnosis made from the initial conversation with the customer allowing response time to be decided. Citizens Charter dictates a response within a 4 to 8 hour period depending on the individual situation. Machine repaired and necessary paperwork completed and reported back to head office.

Responsible for the initial installation, maintenance and repair of photo-booths in an assigned geographical area. Negotiating with the office co-ordinator and the customer to achieve satisfactory response times in breakdown situations. Full responsibility for the collection and banking of all monies taken from the booths.

Installation of public lighting in accordance with a protocol set by the local authority. Servicing of lights and repairs where necessary. An essential part of the position was to ensure that all work met the recommended standard set for by the public highways dept. A quick response was imperative given the nature of the work.
