I am a music producer and song-writer with a focus on creating music for Sync Licensing. I play multiple instruments including all brass and wind instruments. This allows me to create any style of music imaginable, and my music library shows that diversity. Originally from Los Angeles, Mark Rudin started as a songwriter in 1999 as a member of the Philadelphia-based band, Townhall (1999 - 2006) while attending the Jazz Performance program at University of the Arts. In early 2009, Mark met Cisco Adler and began a full-time working relationship that included recording, writing, and touring with the Billboard Top 10 artist, Shwayze (2009 - 2011). He co-wrote multiple songs for the artist including the title track of the 2010 album, Island In The Sun. In 2012, the song “Waking Up In Paradise,” which he co-wrote with Cisco Adler, was featured in the film, The Other Woman (2012).In the Summer of 2012, Mark accepted a position as the Music Director for Hotel El Ganzo in Los Cabos, Mexico (2012 -2019). There he designed the hotel’s incredible recording studio known as “The Underground” - it’s in the basement and is famously accessed via a trap-door in the floor of the lobby. For the next 7 years he developed Hotel El Ganzo’s music program, which involved curating monthly performances by world-renowned artists including: Natalia Lafourcade, Brett Dennen, Joshua Radin, Thievery Corporation, Lizzie, Hello Seahorse, Mexican Institute of Sound, Alex Ferreira, Stephane Wrembel, Atlas Genius… and many more. With every artist, Mark produced a live rooftop concert, and he created, filmed and produced YouTube video series, “El Ganzo Sessions,” which documented the artists performing in The Underground Studio. 2018 saw Mark’s return to full time songwriting & music production. His focus is on writing songs for sync licensing and to fulfill the needs of corporate clients. Mark’s music has been placed in network television shows, feature films, national advertising campaigns, film trailers and in 2020 a song he co-wrote and produced with Greg Scott, “Miracle,” was selected for - and won - the TV Show Songland. This song was ultimately performed by Bebe Rexha and was used as a promotional song for the Tokyo Olympics..He is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist with expertise playing wind instruments (trumpet, trombone, saxophone and flute) In addition to his own music mark recorded and arranged as the horns sections for hundreds of various recording artists. Mark’s music library is managed by Sweet on Top.
