Managing a team of 25 engineers in design and development of air purifiers and hand dryers main body assembly systems. Spearheaded projects resulting in innovative Environmental Care products, transitioning fully implemented main body assembly systems from NPD to production in Malaysia

Managing a specialist team of designers and test technicians to develop world class injection moulded closure solutions for the beverage market. During my time I designed, and took through to commercial production in Australia, the lightest and fastest produced single piece CSD closure in the Coca-Cola system. Coca-Cola went on to use my external grip design globally, ensuring it was adopted by all other suppliers. It is still featured on Coca-Cola's soft drinks in the market today.

Tensator. Inventor of the world famous Tensabarrier®. As Senior Design Engineer I managed a team of 6 designers, where together we provided queue management and call forward solutions to several large retail companies, including WHSmith and Uniqlo. This involved combining standard parts, such as the Tensabarrier® with bespoke POS elements. I also individually worked on information terminal concepts for British Airways and their new T5 at Heathrow Airport.

DS Smith is an international packaging company. During my time with the business, I worked in the structural packaging division where twin-sheet thermoforming technology was used to create robust and cost-effective solutions for retail and automotive customers. The technology produces a double-sided, hollow panel with features on both sides of the exterior to create multi-dimensional housings and enclosures, strong yet lightweight, as housings for hardware and components, pockets or enclosures or panels that require thermal or acoustic insulation.As design engineer I used SolidWorks CAD to create the final product solution as well as the aluminium tooling, including the cooling and vacuum channels, necessary to produce the part at our inhouse facility in Belgium.

Cantilever provide bespoke bar design and installations for bars, cafes, hotels and restaurants. They have an international client base, cutting edge design with state-of-the-art construction. As Industrial designer I created entirely unique and detailed front and back bar solutions for multiple, high-end venues; including Match Bar, Blend, Jack Daniels, and Diageo. As well as the photorealistic proposal documents, the role required site surveying, detailed layout drawings to include services, fabrication drawings for components from stainless steel, to wood and glass and the final physical installation of the product on site.

SBFI provide technical furniture solutions for the trading floors of the world's leading banking corporations, including HSBC, UBS and Deutsche Bank. As a design engineer I was responsible for the creation of trading desk solutions capable of fitting the human user, whilst integrating and managing the vast technology hardware. The desk solution was not only to be conceived and executed at an individual level, but also multiplied and scaled to work holistically with an entire trading floor, where numbers could reach several hundred.In addition, I was involved in the NPD design group, where we created future component and system solutions, such as articulating monitor arms.

I spent 4 years at The Rover Group completing a Technical Engineering Apprenticeship. During this time, I combined studies in Basic Engineering Principals (NVQ II Practical) and Mechanical Engineering (ONC and HND) with a series of 3-month placements across a wide variety of departments within Rover, MG and Land Rover.
