I led the Commercial Management on various NEC 3 contracts as the Main Contractor across the aviation sector including new build terminal facilities, refurbishment, complex baggage systems and MEP installations providing a full range commercial activities including the following:• Procurement of 2nd tier suppliers through to implementation and final account agreement.• Management and agreement of change control in accordance with the time frames and procedures under the NEC contracts utilising contract administration portal CEMAR with the client and Conject with 2nd tier suppliers• Submission and agreement of main contract applications along with assessment of corresponding applications from 2nd tier suppliers ensuring costs are claimed in accordance with the Commercial Principles contained in the subcontract.• Preparation and submission of forecasts and Cost Value Reconciliation financial reports to Mace directors.• Management of Risks and Opportunities across the project including input into risk reduction meetings with the clients team. • Preparation of Project Controls reports including calculation of data for the Actual Cost of Work Performed, Estimate at Completion and Earned Value analyisis.• Monitoring 2nd tier suppliers costs and carrying out commercial audits at 2nd tier suppliers offices validating overhead and defined costs applied for.• Producing cost plans and submission of tenders including agreement of contracts with the client

Carrying out quantity surveying duties across the full construction process from preparation and submission of GMP’s to final account negotiation and settlement with clients and 2nd tiers suppliers. Responsibilities included subcontractor procurement, valuation and payment of 2nd tier suppliers, cost / value reconciliation reports carried out on a monthly basis to submit to the main board and management and development support to commercial subordinates throughout. Projects included resurfacing, road realignment and new traffic signals at Perivale junction, A40, value £1 million.
