Responsible for leading a team of engineers representing each of the Alcoa Howmet Casting Facilities around the world in optimizing quality and best practices in the post cast operations of the plants. I own the post cast process manual and oversee application of standards for consistency from plant to plant. The team utilizes Six Sigma principles, Process Management, self auditing disciplines to assure that the processes are in control. I oversee automated water jet cutting, blasting, CNC and finishing standards.

Fulfilled the responsibilities of Process Owner as spelled out in the Corporate Casting Manual. This includes auditing the single crystal vaccuum casting department to requirements, determining root cause analysis of deviations from a critical process specification, development of new specifications, new material, and new processes.

Ran DS, SC and equiax parts performing the functions of a process engineer. Troubleshot and modified processes, wrote PCs, dispositioned parts, worked with shop floor personnel to reduce scrap and lower costs.

I directed technicians and engineers in the design, development, testing and documentation of new and existing products servicing the rechargeable battery pack industry. Interface with customers on technical issues, assure prototype designs are built and tested properly and then shipped on time.

Researched vacuum casting related processes, equipment, controls and instrumentation to promote understanding of the process, advance the art and increase company profits. Invented, patented, designed, developed and built new casting processes and equipment and transitioned them to Howmet plants located around the world.Provided expert technical consultation on DFMA, radiation pyrometry, electromagnetics, radiation heat transfer, thermocouples and DS/SC vacuum casting furnace design to production plants.  
