Mark Somerville joined Surrey School Board in 2021 as a Manager, Health Services bringing over 18 years of Disability Management experience. Prior to joining Surrey School Board, Mark worked for Willis Towers Watson as a Senior Consultant, and at Sun Life Financial as the Manager of Group Disability for the BC Region where he managed a team of Disability Case Managers and was responsible for the overall performance of the Group Disability plan. Mark also has extensive and varied experience in the insurance industry as a Disability Case Manager, Case Management Consultant and Payment and Eligibility Specialist, for a major insurance carrier. Mark holds a Bachelor of Psychology degree from Carleton University.
