Create program elements, television and radio spots for programs produced by Northstate Public Radio, such as "I-5 Live!" and "Health Dialogs", addressing such sensitive topics as teenage binge drinking, and teenage suicide. Funded by KQED, the programs that I produced and/or contributed to, received a lot of attention, enjoying an extremely large audience and critical acclaim.

Produced the Soundtrack for, and Directed The City of Redding's Freedom Fest for five yeara in a row. The largest fireworks display between Sacramento and Seattle each year's show was the culmination of months of hard work by many people.. We had a lot of great shows. Great audience response, great production team and great press coverage. This was always a fun show to do!

Produced 2011 live concert video show from 5 camera, six hour concert with several live acts at Manzanita Place in Chico, CA. .Show also went out live on the web this year! First time the show went out live and first time in HD. We had a great time!.

Show pre-production, management, installation and presentation for this innovative Southern California film festival utilizing electronic playout and projection of over 20 hours of programming over a five day period each year.

Produced and directed the Greendance Film Festival, along with Lorraine Dechter, in Chico, CA. which occurred late April, 2010, on the Big screen, on the silver screen (via KIXE-PBS), and with groundbreaking presentations on the web (via VideoRanch3D.com)! Everyone had a great time participating in this precedent setting film festival!

Highlights include: camera operator, video, sound and utility for "The X Games Experience", a live extreme sports show, stage technician for "Fantasmic" as well as technical support for a variety of shows and attractions at the Happiest Place on Earth.

Magic Mountain: Supervisor, Park Television and Sound: Produced all in-park media, including training films. Managed in-park television programming and hardware, as well as Park Sound, utilizing Media Matrix. Converted studio facilities from analog to digital for both picture and sound. Maintained park television network, consisting of over 100 monitors and up to 3 channels of specialized programming for both guests and employees. Designed sound for Fright Fest attractions, their annual Halloween event. One attraction featured over 100 tracks mixed to 30 zones. Another over 40 tracks in each of 8 scenes synchronized to lighting, special effects and adjacent scenes, a first for Six Flags. Restored or created media for Batman the Ride, Superman the Escape, the Grand Carousel and many other attractions and departments. Created hundreds of voice tracks for attractions and promotional announcements on a daily basis.

Editor for "Entertainment Tonight" and Dr. Phil. From editing news packages for ET, to 12 camera coverage of counseling sessions, these two shows represented quality productions in their respective formats.

Edited this network's number one show "Comic View", as well as their daily entertainment news show "Screen Scene, as well as several specials, including "The Q Factor", a special on Quincy Jones. Projects included directing V/O sessions and editing Interstitials, promos and Academy Awards specials.

Day-to-day responsibilities included supervision of all editorial functions, including duplication, bookings, billings and advertising and capturing v/o sessions Generated new and maintained existing accounts including House of Blues, KCET, Concorde/New Horizon, Microsoft, and many others.

Ediflex Systems manufactured Emmy-Award and Academy Award winning non-linear electronic editing systems (NLE's) for motion pictures and television. Clients included; and many others. I managed a department of up to 12 trainers and 66 systems as well as created customer support and quality assurance materials. Acting as a trouble-shooter on behalf of Ediflex' major studio clients, I solved many post production problems from off-line to on-air. We set the benchmark for customer support.

Responsible for practical analysis of operational systems for the Ediflex, troubleshooting as necessary, and devising solutions to customer needs. Wrote documentation regarding procedures and usage of Ediflex systems and trained personnel to implement modifications as appropriate.

Instructed editors, assistant editors and apprentices in their duties as they related to operating the award winning Ediflex. "During the course of my employment at Ediflex, I personally trained hundreds of editors on our system for the Editor's Guild. I also guest lectured on editing at UCLA and USC, and contributed to books and articles that dealt with the subject of electronic editing. In my capacity as Systems Analyst, I contributed to the design of the product, and was personally responsible for overseeing and implementing many operational modifications and technical improvements."

Highlights included being the first news source to break stories such as the then El Salvador drug trafficking scandal, and updating Russia invading Afghanistan. Packages ranged from hard news to mini-documentaries to kickers.

Produced all recorded media for this top rated rock and roll radio station, including all in house commercials, promo's, public affairs programming, etc. Recorded interviews with rock legends such as Rick Wakeman, Ted Nugent, Keith Emerson, Yes, Ten Years After, Supertramp, David Gilmour, Robin Trower and Peter Frampton. Directed "A Week at The Whiskey", a week long series of live concert broadcasts from this legendary venue, featuring acts such as Prism, Eddie Money and The Ramones. It was a great time to be in radio!.
