Senior Engineer
Current• Technical referral for both internal and external engineers including IME’s.• Training and coaching for new and existing engineers.• High value referral for engineers.• Complaints handling and resolution.• Control and monitoring performance statistics.• Provide direct support to various department leads withing Engineering, claims, Solus. in quires / resolution.• IT issue resolution.• Managing various work streams and distributing the work to the most appropriate engineering resource.• Salvage training and awareness.• Problem solving.• Managing various work streams and distributing the work to the most appropriate engineering resource.• Salvage training and awareness• Create a positive and ethical working climate that is conductive to attracting, retaining, and motivating a diverse group of high performing employees.• To deliver the business strategies that maximise repair throughput performance across the group, whilst controlling operational costs.• To build and maintain motivated and skilled teams through effective leadership, development, mentoring and coaching.• Manage and lead engineering resources across the region to achieve the optimum balance between service & indemnity spend.• Generates ideas about future repair initiatives whilst maintaining up to date knowledge of the marketplace, our competitors, and trends.• Works across Operations and Head Office functions to embed the Solus strategy, business priorities, methodologies, and measures.• Ensures that the operation complies to all policies and procedures relating to Security, Health and Safety and Governance.
