Designed and built a Raspberry Pi shop floor data collection terminal solution to capture pallet scale weights into Oracle EBS, using bash shell and Raspbian UNIX configurations.9. This screen was designed for hands-free use, with the only user interaction to roll a packed shipping container onto a Mettler Toledo scale, and scan the attached shipping container LPN.

1. McDonalds, Designed and built PL/SQL interfacing system from SMART to a new web based restaurant back office system https://gas.mcd.com/ for McDonalds. Portions of this app were previously named eBoss and eRestaurant.2. Integrated Oracle EBS with the new corporate standard SAML SSO, using Java.3. Designed and built backend of ModCash (MDS) SOX compliant replacement McDonalds McOpCo (company owned restaurants) cash reporting system.4. Designed and wrote interfaces into McDMenu.com.5. Involved in conceptual design and testing of FDA required nutritional information extracts from SMART.6. Engaged for further design enhancements and support of the McDonalds SMART system, including migration of the project to Oracle ADF J2EE business components tech stack.7. Designed and wrote a complete replacement of the Oracle Workflow engine after Oracle dropped it from the base database product, to continue support for a major Oracle Workflow I designed and enhanced that drives requests for new menu items and recipes from regional coordinators, regional division heads and internal menu item development. This custom workflow system integrated into McDonalds POP and IMAP email servers, polling the IMAP inbound system email address using JAVA every 10 seconds, and feeding the email approvals/rejections into a FIFO Oracle AQ, which was monitored by a continually running PL/SQL engine sitting on an Oracle AQ with a blocking read call.

1. Lead of 5 member team that designed and constructed from scratch, a new Oracle, Web based Store Menu and Recipe Tool (SMART) application for McDonalds. SMART was the system of record for all Menu item and recipe information for McDonalds. 2. I designed the entire Oracle database schema for this project (including writing the table construction DDL.) and many of the individual functional and technical subsystem designs. SMART utilized a 5 level bill of material, SMI->BMI->AI->PPO->SU (Sold Menu Item, Base Menu Item, Assembly Item, Planning Items and Stock Units.)3. As the system of record for all store Menu item and Recipe information, I lead design and construction of approximately 15 SMART to external systems, both inbound and outbound. Example external system interfaces on which I lead designs and construction; Poller, SDODB, DCA RiDM, RFM, ZIL McDMenu.com, EMIX, WRIN and HAVI data warehouse.

Focused on analysis, design and construction of complex supply chain management RICE items geared toward ASCP, production scheduling, and ATP.2. Suggested, coded and implemented custom Oracle Forms based production planning system to replace a custom Excel system just built, which was rolled out to a dozen production plants.3. 1. Led design and development of a major custom warehouse management system, conversion and rewrite to replace the host order entry system with American Software’s ASI Order Entry System.2. This system was built using native OS/2 windows SDK in C with pre-compiled, embedded SQL hitting a DB2/2 database. 3. Developed tools, utilities, and APIs; worked closely with IBM to debug a new version of Norand RF, DCC/2 compatible terminals and suggested product enhancements to IBM.4. Wrote APIs for the PLC programmers to integrate production reporting, pallet conveyors and automated pallet label applicators using custom C functions to dynamically generate Zebra label ZPL.5. Rolled out this custom warehouse management system in a nearly solo effort (in conjunction with the head PLC programmer) at the Horsham, PA plant.6. This project was written using Windows SDK C, Easel and DB/2 running on and OS/2 server and OS/2 user clients.7. Notably, when we moved the server from a 386 to Intel Pentium system, I was able to use the increased performance to add a daily production planning system.
