In this nationwide position I work with Schmalz Regional Sales Managers to deepen the technical sales relationship with Robot Integrators as well as end users. Duties include in-depth sales support, conceptual system design and on-site initial commissioning support, working with the integrator/end user Robotic Engineers. I was also the person who vetted 90% of the incoming application requests for all of North America, doing the top down tool concepts and zone layouts.I am listed as Inventor on a robotic end effector that I concepted and designed for Amazon. They hold the patent on this ground breaking tool. Also, a 2nd tool that I designed for Amazon has gone into rollout post my leaving Schmalz. 900 tools sold so far.

I was hired by Schmalz to be a Regional Sales Manager but also to kick start the gripping systems department, which was struggling. Given my extensive automation experience across multiple disciplines I was uniquely suited to do this. The gripping systems primarily deal with robot integrators and given my KUKA experience I was able to quickly grow the sales for this department.My territory for most of this position covered: WI, MN, ND, SD, IL, IA, KS, and NE. For several years I also had robot integrator target accounts in CO and TX.
