• Development, support and administration of high availability, real time financial trading systems that interface with the ASX and SFE exchanges, for several print media assets (Australian Financial Review, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age) and high volume websites (AFR.com, TradingRoom.com.au, BusinessDay.com.au).• Disaster Recovery System planning, setup/configuration, and testing of for key production systems.• Providing after hours support of production critical systems and services – ensuring services are restored to the business within the shortest time possible.• Development and support of enterprise system processes and services using a variety of architectures provided through .NET, SQL, SOA, MVC, REST and other technologies.• Development and architecture of relational database schemas for various solutions• Communicating system updates, development task updates, and incidents to wider stakeholder business units.• Engaging with other technology and project teams to accomplish project and operational tasks.• Liaising with Stock Exchanges regarding market data feed & API changes, as well as participate in user compliance qualification testing.• Development of a variety of ad-hoc bespoke technology application solutions based on business/user requirements.• Development and support of various solutions for the Editorial & Advertising Publishing Systems (ATEX Genesis, Genera Editorial, & Genera Advertising Systems) within Fairfax Media.• Adhering to IT Governance processes including issue tracking, development request backlog, project updates, source control, change management, and documentation.• Liaising with stakeholders in various business units to understand requirements for development
