Providing a comprehensive range of high quality acute services to a local population of about 400,000 people, it operates from two main sites with a total workforce of about 5,600 staff.Role and Responsibilities: • I was responsible for the administration, management and development of all ICT Systems within the Directorate of Laboratory Medicine, specifically the GE Healthcare Systems Laboratory Information Management System (Triple G Ultra Series), as well as a number of other peripheral and legacy systems.• I worked as part of the team responsible for the integration of these systems into the Hospital Information Management System, Eclypsis 7000 Series, to ensure the provision of efficient automation of laboratory services for the benefit of the Directorate, Wirral Hospital NHS Trust and its serving community• I was solely responsible for the provision of workload, statistical and financial information for the Trust.• I was responsible for the provision of clinical data to support range of clinical information systems within the Trust and the community, and also to support local and national Infection Control services and government body initiatives.• I was responsible for the supervision, training and personal development of the small team of IT support personnel• I was involved in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and other documentation to support laboratory IT services
