While my official job title is investment executive for a state pension system, I consider myself to be an investment ideas person. My focus is always on finding solutions that work, whether it's a new investment opportunity or a fresh approach to an existing challenge. While I have a background in decision-making and predictive analytics, I prefer to avoid getting bogged down in technical details unless necessary. I use tools such as Python, R, Machine Learning and big data, but I believe that simpler solutions are often more effective than complex ones. That being said, I'm known for my innovative and unconventional thinking within the investment industry. I approach problems from all angles, exploring every possible avenue to find the best possible outcome. Over the past decade, I've had a lot of success in developing better investment strategies and processes, resulting in industry-leading performance across a range of asset classes.
