As well as presiding over a wide range of vital construction management duties such as, ensuring all workers adhere to section 9 & 10 of the WA Mines Safety & Inspection Act at all times, I love transcending the daily routine to spearhead major construction initiatives that introduce enhanced efficiencies and reduced costs. This versatility allows for the expression of creativity within my leadership mandate while inspiring others in the quest to deliver strong bottom line value to a company’s business model. I thrive in working environments that demand the application of a multi-disciplinary approach, from managing the installation and reversion of the Guadfrin/Diastar Filter to a Kelly Filtration design to directing all activities associated with the civil construction of the tailings facility’s wall and floors, excavation (cut/fill) and stockpiling of 2 million m3 of material on a seasonal basis. This adaptability has been refined from flourishing in the mining sector for over 17 years. In my recent role as a Construction Superintendent for Atlas Iron, I spearheaded the Atlas Iron Mt Webber Iron Ore development project, employing outstanding communication and organisational skills to augment the process. Being a part of the breaking ground team for the ROM, pit ramps and the Construction of a 200 bed camp with wet and dry mess, recreation facilities, a sports court and a water treatment facility etc. were significant achievements for the successful development of this iron ore project.I am committed to exceed targets and provide strong bottom line value, and believe that within every problem there lies an opportunity. I would love to channel this potent energy into the growth and development of your business model. If you’re interested in potentially working with me, please contact mark@steeleforce.com.au.
