I began my career in technical roles that involved application development and technical troubleshooting at Black & Veatch. A propensity to say "yes" to new challenges in the early stages of my career led me to telecommunications, network systems, and leadership opportunities. The fast paced telecom industry of the late 90's created opportunities for me to learn technology and leadership at a very fast pace. To this day I still provide consulting in the telecommunications industry, using the insights I have gained into telecom network operational processes and the experiences linking technology such as NetExpert and Cisco Prime Network to Network Operations Center personnel. I enjoy using these experiences to benefit companies such as Sprint and Samsung Telecommunications.In 2001, I would leave Black & Veatch to pursue entrepreneurial interests, joining in a partnership which provided the opportunity to learn how business operates while at the same time offering network systems consulting and project management services to Sprint LTD and Century Link for nearly 7 years.In 2010, I purchased my first business, Monarch Inventory Services, where I still serve as President today. Since the aquisition, I have learned all aspects of running a small business, including leadership, marketing, sales, operations, and finance. My technical background combined with my prior leadership experience has been of great benefit over this time frame. We have become an industry leader in a full range of Warehouse Inventory Services which has led to business partnerships with companies such as Volvo Truck North America, Schlumberger, Dupont, and Spectrum Brands where we provide inventory services and technology solutions for physical counts, quality control, put away processes, cycle counting/auditing and much more.
