Between September 2007 and October 2018 I held the role of Assistant H.R. Director (Training and Development). I also co-created the University's mediation service. Between 1996 and 2002 I held the position of Group HR Manager at Benfield Motors, a large motor retailer based in the North of England, providing leadership to the organisation’s H.R and H.R.D. function. Between 1989 and 1996 I worked at Newcastle City Council as Senior Management Development Officer, working with a variety of client departments from treasury and accounting staff to education specialists and school governors.Prior to 1989 I designed and delivered a range of development initiatives for a major U.K. retail chain which I delivered across the U.K.
