In this role I am assisting on the Govt.NZ site, an innovative Government platform bringing information and services to the NZ public. This is a SilverStripe site on the CWP platform.These are some of the initiatives I've been involved in:* Solution design and implementation of the high profile Flags Consideration Project, which included flag design submission, moderation, panel voting, gallery presentation, and liaison with the Flags project team for requirements and support. Security and performance were important aspects. Technologies included SilverStripe/CWP and AngularJS for custom CMS interfaces.* A content hub for representation of fragmented content elements, to assemble and serve over an API to support external applications. The administration of the content was built using ReactJS.* Software design and implementation of GOES, the Government Online Engagement System. This is built as a SilverStripe module, and permits setup and execution of public engagements, a valuable way to get public feedback on Government initiatives and feeding into policy decisions. It includes the ability to set up custom forms for eliciting feedback, strict control for anonymous feedback, moderation and publication of moderated content back to the public. New consultations do not require development effort.* various modules and features covering a wide range of areas, such as search, analytics, APIs, accessibility and providing content editors with better tools.
