Currently working with the National North East Storage team handling financial services and Healthcare accounts. We are helping them transform their aging storage infrastructures, to meet the ever-changing demands of market growth and protecting them with our Cyber Resiliency Solutions. Current projects include replacing aging spinning disk environments with enterprise flash, and reeducating clients on the proper usage of data archiving to the cloud to reduce the ever-growing needs surrounding backup and recovery.

At EMC I worked with customers to better enhance and architect their Backup and Storage Infrastructures. One of the many projects included the development of a multi datacenter backup solution for an exchange 2010 deployment of 285TB; locations included were two in the United States and one in the UK, and two in Asia Pac. Day to day responsibilities included the managing of customer personnel; assisting them in the proper execution of their day to day activities. Direct interaction with C-level executives on a day to day basis delivering updates on infrastructure activities, and coaching them on vendor negotiation tactics.

Worked with corporate clientele to re-architect aging backup and recovery infrastructures by properly classifying data into a tiered storage design method. Experienced in vendor negotiations and strategic marketing to obtain the best prices from multiple hardware vendors.

Responsibilities included technical support for Mid Range Tape sales teams and specialists who focused on competitive tape library positioning. Supported East Coast and Puerto Rico tape drive and library sales and acted as a liaison between the sales force and product development teams.Other responsibilities included giving presentations at high level technical training seminars to customers and IBM business partners. In addition to co-authoring an IBM Redbook; I also authored many of IBM’s technical storage marketing supplements.

I was in charge of architecting, and Implementing Datacenters around the country. Along with providing technical expertise to increase employee productivity and effectiveness.

I led a team of field engineers in the maintenance and installation of Windows NT workstations/servers in a fast paced financial broker environment. I was responsible for the servicing and maintenance of Dow Jones trading and financial systems. Installed and maintained hubs, routers, digital and ISDN modems'; and repaired OEM computer equipment (Acer, Brother, Canon, Intel Aegis, Sigma, and Okidata.)
