Project management of various telecommunication core network upgrades though out Scotland, deploying microwave radio, SDH and Cisco data equipment to provide network resiliency. Responsibilities:Delivery of core transmission network projects to Time, Cost & Quality through out the UK.Project management through full project life cycle from project initiation through to closure.Project financial management and forecast reporting of project expenditure. Reporting project progress to stakeholders and senior management.Ensuring H&S processes and compliance are adhered to by all parties concerned with project deliveryAppropriate project resource allocation and coordination.Identifying and management of project risks, Issues, and Actions required to enable project delivery.

Deployment of new core network sites and site infrastructure upgrades through out the UK, deploying microwave radio, SDH, CWDM, DWDM, Cisco Data and DC Power equipment.Responsibilities:Responsible for overseeing projects at the design level for both Data and Transmission implementation and working closely with the project managers.Duties:Liaising with the various technical design teams to infrastructure designs and workpacks to be issued to the technical teams delivering the projects within time, quality and budgets.Ensure all internal network record systems and drawings are updated with latest as-build details.Provide regular project progress update reports to project manager and assist in the forecast of man hour/hardware costs for internal and external resources. Procurement of project hardware and resources adhering to company policies, processes and procedures.Completion of on-site surveys and site inductions to ensure people work in a safe and secure environment as required by HSE guide lines.

Deployment of Nokia Dynanet PDH product range and microwave radio equipment in various customer networks.

Installation and commissioning of PDH and microwave radio for dedicated bespoke project.

Completed 2 year EITB certificate of basic technical training as part of an apprenticeship with BT.
