SUBSTATION OPERATION: -Executes operating orders and switching procedures during outages and normalization of substation equipment and transmission lines-Logs all operational data from statistical meters, equipment gauges, annunciators, protective relays, etc. as maybe necessary or required-Closely monitor, analyze and report alarms on Protection Panels, AC/DC system, auxiliaries and Telecom-Conducts routine inspection of all substation equipment using patrol checklist including Fire Fighting and Anti-flooding equipment-Prepares the following: -Switching Sequence / Record of Inter System Safety Precaution A (RISSP-A) -Substation Equipment Transmission Line Outage Report (SSETLOR) -Substation Deficiency Report (SSDR)-Gather, analyze and provide relay indications and other relevant data to Regional Control Center (RCC) /Area Control Center (ACC), MTD and other concerned NGCP officials for any auto tripping incident-Immediate reporting of unplanned outages thru SMS to authorized NGCP Officials-Coordinate with and provide relevant information to Transmission Line Engineer including affected customers and power plants for the immediate restoration of unplanned outages-Provide progress updates on planned and unplanned outages to the District Officials-Issues work permits, maintenance and safety tags to working groupsSUBSTATION MAINTENANCE:-Participates in the installation, upgrading and commissioning of substation equipment-Maintains and safe keep all substation tools and instruments-Implements safety procedures and install barricade line to work site-Participates in the preventive and corrective maintenance of substation equipment-Conducts monthly maintenance and testing of batteries-Conducts immediate repair and troubleshooting of substation equipment minor defect-Updates substation equipment history and database. 8. Maintain good housekeeping on substation premises

Substation Operation - Operation and Monitoring of parameters in the assigned Substation and assist the Principal Engineer in overseeing the operation of the Substation and capacitor bank station.Substation Maintenance - Performs first line troubleshooting during forced outage/s and repair of minor defects which does not require interruption/shutdown. Likewise, will participate in the preventive and corrective maintenance activities in the Substation.

- Oversee to ensure electrical work is performed effectively, safely, efficiently and complied with local regulations and Linde standards.- Maintain electrical systems document up to date.- Register and update authorized site ECPs.

• Ensure existing Linde Phils. (South), Inc. Plants are consistently complying with Linde and Regulatory Electrical Standards.• Prepare the electrical and control engineering design drawings, technical specifications and scope of works for new projects.• Field supervision of the construction and installation activities for on-going projects.• Conduct inspections of completed projects to ensure the quality of the completed projects.• Provide Electrical and Controls Engineering support for the existing production facilities including troubleshooting of plant and / or equipment performance issues. This may also include communicating with the S&SE Asia Operations Centre in Hicom Malaysia.• Conduct Engineering reviews of the existing plant electrics and control systems and recommend any improvements / modifications to improve operability, reliability and productivity of the plant• Review and update the technical documentation of the existing plants.• Knowledgeable on ASU and CO2 Plants operation (start-up, normal operation, shutdown and troubleshooting)• Technical review/evaluation of vendor proposals / quotations
