Mark Stevens – Product Control / valuations team member for global fund administrator across multi asset classes.Mark is an enthusiastic and competent member of the product control team well adept in interest rate derivatives and FX, he has a wealth of knowledge of Financial markets in both Australia and London, with a proven ability to problem solve and engage with senior stakeholders and colleagues with ease.Mark began his career in the UK within the Bank of Scotland Treasury Operations in 1994 successfully accomplishing a number of roles, which developed his understanding of money market products and the workings of the financial markets. In 1999 he was transferred to the derivatives team upon where he worked for 2 years before becoming manager of the Structured Derivatives team, which involved the supervision of a team of five and responsibility for settling all Equity, RPI, commodity swaps in addition to currency options and futures.In 2004 Mark moved to Australia where he worked as project analyst for JPMorgan within the Equities Asia team, carrying out a comprehensive review on Equity derivative instruments of a vanilla to very exotic nature before embarking on a career at HBOS Sydney in 2006 within Product Control covering FX and interest rate derivatives.During his 7 years in the role Mark has been involved in a number of projects, including, the Lloyds bank transition, a complete rebuild of the daily P&L reporting and attribution process, the centralization of all financial and risk reporting for the Asian entities and upgrade of the core trading and settlements platform. In 2014 joined ANZ as product control lead responsible for the Global FX book, before joining the project team to act as SME for FX desk to build out a new derivatives attribution/valuation model. This involved vigorous testing with prudent analysis and awareness of key risks whilst adhering to the regulatory and compliance requirements. In my current role within the product control/valuations team at Hedgeserv a Global Fund Administrator, I am responsible for pricing, reporting and front trading manager platform. I joined ‘Hedgeserv’ in 2016, we currently service over 200+ clients across multiple asset classes, providing realtime time pricing and fully attributed PnL.
