I am an experienced, financially knowledgeable, pragmatic business leader & programme delivery lead within CGI. Joining CGI in 1991 I am the Vice President leading the HR Solutions BPS business at CGI focusing on BPS, Payroll, HR automation and Cloud HR solutions. I am responsible for delivering a growing, profitable and sustainable business. In 2017 I undertook the role of Director Consulting for the Commercial function within the HR Solutions business unit that I now lead. Prior to 2017 I directed the account management team, that would typically just generate low value incremental business, to a position that exceeded the business sales target before new sales were even considered. I achieved this by implementing & directing a proactive client engagement initiative that sought & closed multiple contract extensions.Prior to this I led the new sales function within the business to one of its most successful results within the previous decade. Initially trimming the legacy sales team, I recruited inexperienced but motivated talent & initiated a training programme to develop the team. Demonstrating the value of compliance to process & measures I delivered sales orders in line with the business target with sustainable deals at a very high conversion rate of ‘opportunities to wins’.Shortly after the start of my employment in 1991 I joined the Training & Learning Services business & have held a number of training programme & business management roles including, from 2007 to 2011, a 5 year tenure as UK Training & Learning Services Director where I was focused on delivering a profitable & strong UK delivery capability.I have a strong interest in staff development through learning & also believe that a good understanding of individuals is necessary to develop successful teams.Outside of work I enjoy keeping fit through gym work & running. Music has always been a great passion, kicking off with New Wave back in the late 70s to many bands of today & anything in-between.
