As a Sole Trader, I had been providing labour and supplying materials for a well knownDesign & Build company which specializes in the interior fit-out and shop fittingindustry, this included me installing all main brand Partition and Suspended Ceilingsystems, all Carpentry, Decorations, and minor plumbing works, In addition I amcurrently involved in New Build for the private sector which includes Site & ProjectManagement, labour and materials for house refurbishments and extensions,CIC New Malden

In addition to managing various projects, which included purchasing, keeping to budgetsand tight programs, I helped develop and bring forward their Health & Safety procedures,including CDM & DDA Regulations; I also provided them with new subcontract labourfrom my own database.

When I started with this company there was myself and the MD, I implemented and setup all the Health & Safety structure, compiled estimates ready for tender and introducedtight budgets up to 600K including new marketing tools, I sourced a completely newsubcontract labour force to allow the company to grow from 300k to 3.9 million in 4years.

I started as a Ceiling / Partition fixer / Carpenter, but was quickly moved to the positionof Site Management where I ran various refurbishment sites for their Blue chip clients, Iproduced daily reports, liaising with the clients, holding and taking notes in the weeklymeetings and implementing any changes that were required

My work as a Fit-Out specialist took to different parts of the country, working on variousprojects with different main contractors, this included office and shop fit-outs, the workinvolved was Suspended Ceilings, Partitions, Komfort Partitions, and Carpentry,Decorations, Fire Protection, Raised floors, Demolitions and minor Plumbing works.
