About Mark Stroik
Like most coastal engineers, the water has had a grip on me for a long time. I’ve been working on the water since 1999 and have been planning, designing, and construction coastal engineering projects since 2006. My experience is broad and includes full management responsibilities for all aspects of project and program management on coastal projects. I have spent a significant amount of time away from home, getting to know nearly every stretch of coast along the Gulf and Southeast. My favorite projects are those where a deeper understanding of construction techniques solves a unique challenge and/or increase overall project value.After career stints in the dredging industry and corporate engineering, I am now focused on building First Line Coastal with a fantastic group of partners. We are a SBE-Certified and Women-Owned coastal engineering firm based in Sarasota, FL.
